Over the top wedding, with a performance by J-Rand & old school dance off. Rave client review!

On October 27th 2012, the world of over the top weddings was rocked once again. DJ/Event host Dominick from MSE was on the decks pumping out some great music for a great couple. Stacy & Dylan seemed like a couple that wanted a DJ to “bring it”, and that is what Dominick did. The day started with MSE providing the sound system for the ceremony inside Palms ballroom at the beautiful Marco Island Marriott. It was moved inside due to Hurricane Sandy passing the East coast, and winds were too harsh to be outdoors. The ceremony was emotional and went perfect, and then all the guests moved into the main lobby for cocktails. We worked with Focused on Forever photography, and they were sure to get all the good shots. Inside the main ballroom, MSE was set for a party of Epic proportions. We used our true intelligent lighting mounted on vertical truss. This allowed flexibility to no only light up the dance floor, but also focus on the head table and those special moments on the dance floor. We also upgraded our sound system to accommodate the large crowd, providing quality found in most high end venues and not typical of a mobile DJ. MSE also provided a monogram with Stacy & Dylan’s initials projected on the side wall. Mark Williams from the Marriott was there to make sure everything went perfect, and he is always the best to work with. The night started out with an elaborate introduction of the bridal party with multiple songs, and everyone walking through the door busted a move for the camera. There was also a touch screen photo booth in place that allowed manipulating photo’s and adding effects which was awesome. The bride and groom didn’t use a videographer, but instead went with individual digital video cameras at each table from wedflik.com which probably made some interesting footage as shot from the guests perspective. Artist J Rand was in the house, and took the dance floor performing his hit “Up against the wall”. The party never seemed to end, in fact it went overtime. The highlight of the night was a dance off between between two rival groups from West Palm Beach county’s roller rinks “The Palace” vs “Atlantis Skate way”.
