It was a night of funky music, and good spirits. MSE was part of the celebration for Evan & Ly Rosenberg’s, September 29th wedding at the Bay Colony Beach Club. The day started with a beautiful ceremony by the water, and then transitioned into a full introduction & first dance pool side during the cocktail hour. Inside, the magic was happening with MSE and Big Sams Funky Nation setting up for what was going to be a killer party. Our joined efforts help create a setup suitable to transition from band to DJ throughout the evening. MSE provided true intelligent lighting for the dance floor, while Big Sam provided the main sound system. MSE ran an extension off the sound system towards the back of the long room, so guests can hear what is going on no matter what. After dinner was done, Big Sam took the stage, and DJ Dominick from MSE played 3 other sets packing the dance floor. A cool, smooth collaboration of talent was present that night and it made for a rockin party. DJ Dominick is always prepared for anything, including the last second garter/bouquet toss that he improvised and made happen without blinking an eye. And of course the “Hora” went off without a hitch, thanks to high ceilings. The intelligent lighting looked amazing, and also turned to the band between songs to add to the overall effect of the evening. Of course all this wouldn’t have been possible without the planning and decorating from Kehrin Hassan from Jet Set Wed who did an amazing job as usual.
Here are some of the songs used throughout the evening:
Introduction Song: Give up the Funk – Parliment
First Dance: La Vie en Rose – Louie Armstrong
Cake Cutting: Sugar pie honey bunch – The Four Tops
Bride & Father: Isn’t she lovely – Stevie Wonder
Here is the V- Log from this celebration!
