Once again, MSE had the privilege to host another great wedding at the Marco Island Marriott. This was a Latin-American wedding for Alexis & Avery, two super nice people. The ceremony started on palms lawn where we provided the sound system, wireless microphones, & music. A good friend of the couple was there to sing the processional song for the bride “I can’t help falling in love” from Elvis. MSE also recorded the audio from this amazing moment. Cocktail music was playing on the Palms terrace before everyone made their way to the opposite side of the hotel for the “Caxambus room” that overlooks the sunset terrace & beach. MSE provided full room uplighting that was custom mixed blue with a splash of green. Once everyone started dancing, the up lighting changed colors to the music and brought another dimension to the atmosphere. DJ & Event host Dominick provided a nice mix of classics, top 40 & Latin music to keep the dance floor packed all night. A signature moment was when Alexis & Avery broke into “Rock with you” by MJ halfway through their first dance with everyone joining in to kick off the night. After dinner, the dance floor was opened with “Suavamente” by Elvis Crespo by request of the happy couple, and the dance floor just never stopped. The bride & grooms son also stole the spotlight most of the night, showing his moves and giving all the adults a run for their money. MSE enjoyed working with Mark Williams at the Resort, and all the Marriott staff as usual.
Some of the songs chosen by the bride & groom were:
Introduction: “I got a feeling”- BEP
First dance: “I promise”- Cece Winans & “Rock with you”- MJ
Bride & Father dance: “I am you child”- Barry Manilow
Groom & Mother dance: “Because you loved me”- Celine Dion
Wedding cake: “Build me up buttercup”- Foundations
